Pack and unpack Services
Our professional pack and unpack services allows you to concentrate,
on the more important aspects of your move and will save you time and effort in the long run.
If you have booked one of our packing services,
here is the preparation before we arrive tips.
If you have requested the pack and majority load Day 1
This entails us normally turning up the day before,
working our way around the property systematically,
packing and loading rooms 1 by 1.
We recommend before we turn up to choose designated areas as your do not touch areas.
these are defined areas which will help us if prepared before we turn up.
Anything on the beds, of the beds your family will be sleeping on we will not touch.
eg change of clothes, coats, shoes, towels cosmetics, hair dryers and anything you need
as essentials for over night.
some customers are happy to sleep on the mattress over night,
while the bed is already loaded to be ahead of the move.
We are also happy to leave 1 bathroom as your designated overnight room,
which we will leave an empty box for the next day.
Kitchen most people have takeaway or eat out the night before,
This way to help have more of the kitchen bits already packed up
to be ahead of schedule for the next day.
We understand you may want a designated area of the kitchen kept
for tea and coffee, manuals to property and keys that match the property
windows and doors.
The items of furniture normally left over night is a sofa and all TV,s and Pcs,
The beds you need to sleep on and the fridge and the freezer.
The freezer is normally the last item on the van and the first item off.
its always best to try and run down your freezer items as nobody knows
how long we may need to wait for keys.
Also you should not turn back on for 2 hours at the other end.
We like post-it notes so if you want shelves or items labeled
to go in different rooms in the new house this will help distinguish for the packers.
