archive boxes, for your office, house hold furniture, multiple pallets or container storage,
all with distribution throughout the UK.
Goods can be stored for a day or for as long as you like.
We store your goods in the new euro 2 containers.
With our secure warehousing facilities we can offer a safe,
low cost effective option for everything from small boxes for
your home or office to complete households.
In addition, we deal with a network of companies who offer the facility to store items
in a location convenient to you.
We can look after your home contents,
all items are packed into insulated metal containers
which are securely packed with 24 hour access if required.
These containers are kept on the ground in a fixed position
to ensure that your belongings are not moved around.

What types of storage is normally found in the UK
In the UK there is mainly 3 types of storage used by removals customers and the public and have been used for over 50 years all types.
1 is inside a self store building with lots of thin metal walls with cages on the roof in a single storey to a 5 storey high building of different floors,
when a storage premises is over 1 floor high it is found that often a lift is required, to get it over the different floors,
with this in mind the building might have only 1 to 3 lifts,
sometimes you may find when you turn up other people are using the lift and you may be turned away to a different day,
this is not always suitable especially if the vehicle is due to be on another job the next day.
Another type of storage is woodern boxes storage often used by multinational removals companies.
this means that your goods will be stored in a mobile woodern box on a pallet and will be kept moved around a warehouse until the day you want to move out.
fork lift driver will be required. (Euroxpress does not store this way)
Shipping containers are often only 6-10ft away from the HGV vehicle and when the doors are shut the container stays in situe
until the day you move your belonging out of store.
this means its not going to be kept moved around a warehouse by fork lift each time access is needed access to another container.
plus no waiting time for a lift to be available to go to other floors.
no need to load trolleys and unload trolleys when so near to the vehicle.
All 3 types of storage have been recognized by the majority of all removals companies as the main options for your storage needs.
when moving large volumes Shipping containers gives the easiest access for the short distance of loading and unloading,
that can halve the loading and unloading process if hand balling all your belongings.
according to the self storage association there are 730 sites in the UK which is recognized as an official way
as a recognised duty of care way to store house and furniture belongings.
it has also now been selected as one of the preferred ways to store and ship furniture across the world with skill and knowledge.

Remember what ever you put into storage for a short term or long term all your belonging will be together,
If you request garden and garage wet and dry items to be stored altogether this does increase the odds of what your belonging will be like when you move your belongings out,
for example wet garden furniture or any outside furniture, or smelly bbqs even cleaned out fire pits,
or smelly lawn mowers with the rest of your house hold belongings.
We will not store plants in storage, but sometimes offer to have plants outside in our yard at your risk.
we understand people get attached to there plants and both house and purchase of properties do not all ways tie up, so we can offer a backup solution.
feel free to discuss this option, an extra fee applies.
Remember if your items is going to be in store for 12 weeks or 12 months or longer
No one will be cleaning your belongings while they are instore,
as you wont want to pay anyone to bring all your items out every week and check all items
based on the minimum amount of storage charged for and then putting it all back in.
incase any of the belonging are reacting to the other items.
So if you have items like wall units that might have prior mold on the back and they are not spotless clean or moldy or damp items from your garage,
shed or garden these all can give an element of risk when stored together.
it is the ownership of the client to decide what items they choose to have stored with what is in there units,
think about the length of time it will be in store,
and if you want your other belongings to be like those other items this is your own duty of care.
As we all know most people do not clean belongings from garages / Sheds or dry down items from rain that is stored outside.
If your move is on a sunshine day / raining day or snowing day. we will still be turning up on your chosen day where ever possible,
we cant change days due to bad weather as any day has the eliminate of rain,
but bare in mind the risks when then storing wet items with dry in a storage unit of any type for long periods of time.
It is not the responsibility of the removals company to dry items
or to make lawn mowers or motorbikes or bikes or greasy cookers smell nice,
or jet washers, steamers or washing machines to be completely empty of water
or to clean the back of wall units that never get cleaned before a move of mold and cobwebs.
or to clean under sofas or get rid of cobwebs from your garage and shed items,
even pictures that live on damp walls that are not wiped down prior to storing,
so please be cautious and do not expect a removals companies to protect your self from these scenarios.

Other benefits when storing with a removals company are
As part of our duty of care if using our storage facilities we only use the above methods of storing which includes the following
Euroxpress is storing and keeping the key then we keep our removals blankets in the storage unit
We use our mattress covers and tv covers and put protection ware over the furniture. (a self store wont offer this.)
With our shipping containers we only use shielded padlock containers with special padlocks for added extra security,
This is always when we have the keys and we know we will get our protection ware back afterwards.
Another Tip even thou its more expensive is to have garden and garage in an extra unit,
if you want to keep separate to your other goods.
We have no objection for customers to take out there own insurance, some house insurance cover this period at no extra cost.
